Parents, additional speech and language resources/activities can be sent home at any time, so do not hesitate to let me know if you would like more information about those! I truly believe we are a team, and everything works more efficiently and effectively if we work together :)
This is my third year as a speech-language pathologist and my second year at Southaven Intermediate. I'm ready to have a wonderful school year! I am from Horn Lake, MS, and I’m proud to say I am a product of DeSoto County Schools. I received my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Mississippi. I also received a minor in Spanish, and I enjoy assisting our families who speak Spanish whenever possible.
My primary goal has been and always will be to help my students communicate more effectively and confidently with their parents, teachers, and friends to ensure that they succeed both academically and socially.
