Parents, I strongly encourage you to sign up for Remind 101. It's simple, fast, and free.  It is the quickest way to get in touch with me.  You will also be receiving periodic text regarding important class information.

Graded Papers and homework folders

Graded paper folders will go home every other Monday. Students need to get these signed and also any paper that is a 69 or lower and return all the following day. Homework folders will go home everyday and also your child's planner. The planners will have the homework assignments noted and also any important information written in them daily... mainly by Mrs. Gibson.  I use Remind 101 for homework updates and any important information.

Homework will be given on a daily basis. Not counting MOST weekends and/or Wednesday nights. I try to keep this open for those going to church. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights students will be given homework. I expect them to study flash cards, if they struggle with their multiplication facts.  These are crucial fourth grade skills that should have been learned in third grade.  Those that do not return homework will miss some of their recess each day that it is not done. Three consecutive times, contact will be made home.

I send home weekly behavior sheets with all of their behavior noted.  These are sent home on Monday and will contain the previous week's behavior.  Please sign and return.  Candy is given for good behavior.  Recess detention and possible silent lunch is given for poor choices.
