Subjects Taught
3rd Grade

Hello there! My name is Casie Sachse (pronounced Saxy, rhymes with Taxi).  I am beyond excited to get to know your kiddos and yourself this year! So first, let me help you get to know me. I am originally from Conway, Arkansas and graduated with highest honors from the University of Central Arkansas in my home town.  After graduation, my husband and I moved to Georgia with the Army, and I taught Pre-K while he was deployed to Iraq that entire year. The next year I decided to be a stay at home mom while expecting our first child. After several years at home I decided to get back into teaching and LOVE teaching 3rd grade!

I have an amazing family who fill my days with a lot of fun, a little crazy, but mostly pure love and joy! My husband Nick and I have been married for 11 happy years! We moved to Southaven three years ago for him to attend Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, and he is currently in his last year. We have two silly, sweet, and fun-loving daughters, Mallory (6) and Tessa (4).  Of course I can't leave out that we have an 11 year old miniature schnauzer, Mya!

Other than spending time with my family, I enjoy being active in my church, Broadway Baptist, Pinterest browsing ways to make my classroom even better, cooking and crafting, and singing along to my favorite music! I love doing things for others and always push for my classroom to model this way of thinking. I hope to end the year with not only curriculum wiser students but also students who've grown in character, with a heart for others and a drive to continually better themselves!
