Welcome to Ms. Putt’s 4th grade webpage!

My name is Mrs. Sharen Putt and I am your child's teacher this year.  As a young child, I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher.  It was later in my life that I finally went back to school to accomplish my lifelong goal of teaching children.  I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Mississippi.  

This is my eighteenth year as a teacher.  I was an assistant teacher in kindergarten and second grade.  I have taught first, third, and fourth.  Now I am pleased to be a fourth grade teacher.  Having all the grades as background knowledge has helped me to know where the students have been and where they are going.  

Well, that is about everything there is to know about me.  I am very excited to be your child's teacher.  If we work together as a team, your child will be successful in my class.
