Education and Experience:
I attended Delta State University. I received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education in 2020.
This is my 2nd year teaching. I am so excited to be at SIS teaching fourth grade math and science!
My name is Kristen Endraske and I was born in Rochester, NY. I mainly grew up in a town called Victor. I moved to Olive Branch when I was 5 and I went to school in Olive Branch from kindergarten to third grade. My family then moved back to Victor where I graduated high school. I then moved back to Mississippi for college. All my life I have been wanting to be a teacher. When I was a kid and was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said "be a teacher." I can't believe that my dream has finally come true.
The main reason I became a teacher is because of all the wonderful teachers I had while I was in school. So many teachers have changed my life and have left a meaningful mark on my life. I want to change my students lives. Education is so important, but if the kids are loved and cared for the education will only go so far. I want to change my students and give them a year they will never forget. I will love each and every student like they are my own and make sure we have fun learning.
My family is very important to me. At the beginning of 2019 I got married to my wonderful husband. We adopted a dog in March of 2019. Anastasia is a black lab mix and she is about 4 years old. She is the sweetest little dog. In May we adopted another dog. Autumn is about a year old. She is a small Shepard mix. Autumn is very energetic and loves playing with her sister.
