Education and Experience:  

Ms. Jennifer Owens is so elated to be a teacher at Southaven Intermediate School. She is beginning her second year in education and looks forward to working with your children on their educational journey. She graduated from Gentry High School and received her Bachelor's degree from Delta State University. She has had the pleasure of being a self-contained fifth grade teacher. 

Bio:

Ms. Owens was born and raised in the heart of the Mississippi Delta to J.C. and Bertha Owens. She is a native of Moorhead, MS. She is the mother of one child, Jaliyah and one fur baby, Diva. She is also a proud and devoted member of the Roosevelt Street Church of Christ located in Indianola, MS. She enjoys spending quality time with family, cooking, shopping, attending church events and gatherings, and traveling.
